The Group was founded in 1983 by Georg branch forest. His first two partners were Herbert Pinter (accordion) and Reinhard Steindl (guitar). The trio had titled Depperter Bua (composed by Horst Chmelar) a first success, which earned a gold record in Austria.

1988 first participation at Grand Prix der volksmusik, Alpentrio Tirol ranked last. In 1994 the Alpentrio organized the annual Servus friends party in Neustift im Stubaital Tyrol. A 3-day tent Festival which was initially intended as large fan meeting for 2000 members organised in 13 fan club with programme and concerts. Up to 15000 visitors in three days the Servus friends party to which reached the Alpentrio Tirol of colleagues such as Hansi Hinterseer, Kastelruther Spatzen, Claudia Jung, Andy Borg, G. G. Anderson, Semino Rossi, the Stoakogler, Ursprung Buam, etc. invited to. The Pfingstwochende deemed date of the Festival. Restructuring at pages of endeavours in the Stubai Valley resulted 2007 a change of location for the Servus friends party of Neustift to Seefeld / Tyrolia - now in a Hall.
